Humans of Newtown the book

Humans of Newtown is a collection of remarkable portraits taken on the streets of Sydney’s most alternative suburb by journalist and photographer, Jo Wallace. More than a photography book, it shares the touching and inspiring stories behind Newtown’s most unique, eccentric and colourful personalities. This book celebrates the spirit of this lively area, a place where being different isn’t just encouraged, it’s celebrated. See sample pages on our preview.
